BMWF Bedlam Part III

Date : 12/20/04
Time : 7:30 PM
Venue : Tsongas Arena Lowell Massachusetts

(Howitzer is seen walking to the on-deck area behind the curtain in the final minutes before his match.  He is in his big black boots and wrestling shorts, and his chain and tiger stripe tattoos stand out sharply on his broad torso.  His expression is typically one of casual good nature and concentration.  A dark cloud of distaste clouds it, however, as The Couch comes running up alongside him with a microphone outstretched.)

HOWITZER:  Dammit.

Couch:  Hey, Howitzer!!  Got a minute for your old buddy Couch?

HOWITZER:  Not really.

Couch:  Awwwww!  Why not Howitzer?  Just a little bit of your time before the big match?  Why not?

HOWITZER:  Because I think you’re pansy-@$$ed little jock-sniffer, Couch.

(The Couch pulls back and looks at Howitzer with surprise.)

HOWITZER:  That’s why.

(Couch dips his head and pulls the mic away from his mouth and tries to say something to Howitzer privately, but the boom mic picks it up.)

Couch:  See Howitzer, the thing is, I got a little in over my head buying a new car a few months ago and now I’m stretched a liiiitle thin on the payments, and I was wondering if, you know, seeing’s your flush with money after winning the Million Dollar Challenge, if you could maybe float The Couch a small, very tiny…loan?

HOWITZER:  BWWAAAA-HAHAHAHAHA!!!  BWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAA- HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!  SWEET PEACHES IN MAMA’S HOT COBBLER, COUCH!

(Couch looks at Howitzer, clearly chagrined.)

Couch:  So that’s a…maybe?

HOWITZER:  Yeah Couch!  That’s a maybe!  That’s a “maybe if you get outta my sight before I count to five, I won’t pull your pants clear over your head and make you wear ‘em like that ‘til New Years!”

(Couch stares at Howitzer, mouth open.)

HOWITZER:  One…

(Couch turns to bolt in the other direction, but Howitzer grabs his girlishly flailing arm.)

HOWITZER:  Wait a minute Couch, leave this here.

(Howitzer snatches the microphone from Couch’s hand and lets him go.  Couch runs off like a spooked deer.)

HOWITZER:  There’s somethin’ that’s gotta be said.  WILLIAM BLACK…TIME TO LATHER UP AND SHAVE YOUR @$$!!

(The crowd is heard booming their approval for Howitzer.  Howitzer smiles at them into the camera and nods his head confidently.)

(Two loud, rumbling growls from a Bengal tiger echo over the PA, and then an instantly recognizable Randy Rhoads guitar lick.)

PA:  OH NO (OH NO)
HERE WE GO (HERE WE GO NOW)

        OH NO (OH NO)
        HERE WE GO NOW

(“Flying High Again” by Ozzy Osbourne blares over the sound system.  The crowd goes absolutely crazy.  A close-up picture of a Bengal tiger staring directly into the camera appears on the Bruisertron.  At the top of the entrance ramp, three deafening, green pyro pops go off, one after the other. Strobe lights bathe the arena in flickering green light as Howitzer steps from behind the curtain and heads for the ring, wearing his hunter green and yellow-striped wrestling shorts and black boots with his black, shrunk to fit  "I DON'T LIKE YOU" t-shirt.  Howitzer slaps hands with the fans near the barrier as he makes his way to the ring.)

J.R.:  And now we come right down to it, King.  The Family, some would argue, is THE rising power in the BMWF, and the outcome of this match will decide if they pick up a new member.  A 60 Minute Iron Man Match to prove who’s the better man!

King:  I just can’t believe they’re giving this chance to Howitzer!  I mean, come ON!

J.R.:  What are you talking about, King?  Howitzer’s a former TV Champ and the Million Dollar Challenge winner!  Howitzer’s a real blue chipper here!

King:  I think you meant a real “blah” chipper, J.R.!  Hahahahahaha!

…---…silence…---…

King:  J.R.?  Get it?  A “blah” chipper?

J.R.:  That one rates a double L King.  Labored and Lame.

King:  That was comedy gold and you know it.  But what I wanna know is, where’s Howitzer’s new pal “Bloodaxe” Rodderick Bane?

J.R.:  You heard them earlier in the show!  Howitzer and Bloodaxe fight their own battles.

King:  Well Spirit’s out here!

J.R.:  That’s because William Black DOESN’T fight his own battles.

(Howitzer climbs into the ring after shaking some hands with the fans behind the barrier.  He leans back against the ropes, stretching, and stares confidently at Black.)

J.R.:  Let’s get this barnburner going!  60 minutes of pure wrestling folks!  THIS is why TiVo was invented!

JR: So are half of Black's moves!

KING: HA HA HA!

J.R.:  Still in the early goings here King, both men testing each other out.

King:  C’mon Black!  This is the guy that shredded your thousand-dollar custom tailored suit!  He turned it into fringe!

(Black attempts a martial arts sequence, but Howitzer deftly avoids the blows and steps to the side.  As Black attempts to recover his position, Howitzer gets him around the neck and drops him to the mat with a Cobra Clutch Bomb.)

J.R.:  Cobra Clutch Bomb!  Punishing!  Punishing!

King:  That’s ok Black, that’s the best he can do!

J.R.:  I wouldn’t count on that!

(Black gets up off the mat and quickly locks up.  They grapple back and forth, but Howitzer powers out and shoves Black backwards.)

J.R.:  With authority!  The power of Howitzer is unmatched by William Black, King!  Black’s got to know that!  Black tries to follow in and Howitzer nailed him with the headbutt!!  Black’s dazed!

(Rapidly taking advantage of Black’s incapacitation, Howitzer grabs him and picks him up, then rotates him upside down and drops to the mat with a front piledriver.)

J.R.:  Piledriver!!  Piledriver!!  Howitzer is bringing out the big guns tonight folks!

(William Black attacks Howitzer with some punches, backing him into the ropes. Then Black throws Howitzer into the ropes on the other side of the ring with an Irish Whip. Howitzer comes back off the ropes and runs right into...)

JR: SPINEBUSTER!!! Good Lord that shook the ring! The ref's in position! One! Two! Shoulder up!
KING: Stupid Referee! That was a slow count!
JR: I don't think it was...

(William Black gets up and gets in the referee's face, complaining about a slow count. Howitzer gets up quick too, and charges after William Black. Black turns around at the last second though, catching Howitzer in mid stride with a second Spinebuster.)

JR: A second SPINEBUSTER! Howitzer's seeing stars. One! Two! Shoulder up!

(Both men battle back to their feet. Howitzer gets the advantage though and waffles Black with a hard right hand. Howitzer goes for the pin, but the referee is distracted by Spirit who has climbed up on the apron. Howitzer gets up to see what the commotion is all about. Just as the referee turns around, William Black takes Howitzer down with a quick roll up and a handful of tights.)

JR: William Black's got the tights!
KING: I know! He's cheating! And the referee doesn't see it!
JR: One! Two! Three! That was a fast count if I've ever seen one!
KING: No it wasn't!

(William Black quickly slides outside of the ring with Spirit while Howitzer gets up, complaining to the referee about how Black grabbed him by the tights. The referee just tells him that he didn't see it.)

(Suddenly, the lights go out.  At the top of the ramp, a bank of white lights come up, and fog emanates up from the floor.  A frightening, whispering voice comes over the P.A.)

P.A.:  BY THE PRICKING OF MY THUMBS…

(The white lights strobe for a brief second.  Then the whispering voice returns.)

P.A.:  SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES

(Blue lights then strobe throughout the arena as the smoke continues to billow from the ramp.  A steady drumbeat sounds from the P.A., and then the electric opening guitar riff of Iron Maiden’s “Run to the Hills.”)

P.A.:  RUN TO THE HILLS…
          RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!

(A fiery figure appears on the Bruisertron.)

(“Bloodaxe” Rodderick Bane steps from behind the curtain as “Run to the Hills” continues to play.  He has light blue eyes, and his angular face is painted up with blue crisscrossing lines.  His pale torso is unmarked, but he wears a large leather belt with a dome-shaped silver buckle that wraps around his lower stomach.  He has a pair of brown leather gauntlets he wears on his wrists, secured by thin straps that link around his fingers.  He wears somewhat baggy full-length pants, colored a navy blue.  Running up the length of each pants leg are brown studs with silver points in the middle that look like buckler shields.  He wears brown boots.)

J.R.:  Rodderick Bane’s here!  And he doesn’t look too happy about that bit of interference from Spirit!

(Bane sprints to the ring, his face set in a scowl.)

King:  He oughta calm down!  Howitzer got the decision, didn’t he!?

J.R.:  I doubt Bane is an “all’s well that ends well” kind of guy, King!

(Bane runs over to Spirit and waves a finger at her.  She sneers at him and yells some mocking obscenity at him before retreating back to her corner.  Bane looks up at Howitzer in the ring and give him a solemn thumbs-up.  Howitzer nods at him.)

J.R.:  Well if Black thought he was gonna steal one tonight with that jezebel’s help, he was 100% wrong!  Rodderick Bane is a walking equalizer!

King:  I can’t believe the ref’s letting Bane stay out here!  William Black is being railroaded out of this match!  What a snowjob this is!

JR: William Black is ascending the corner. Off the top. Flying Elbow Drop.
KING: Howitzer just go crushed!
JR: One! Two! Shoulder up! William Black goes for the cover again. One! Two! Shoulder up.
KING: That's a smart move. Make Howitzer work to get his shoulders off of the mat.

That requires energy every time he has to do it.
JR: Black with a third lateral press. One! Two! Shoulder up!

(William Black methodically applies a rear chinlock on Howitzer. Then he works Howitzer to his feet by turning it into a side headlock. William Black switches the Side Headlock over to an Arm Wrench. Then William Black slams a pair of elbows down on Howitzer's shoulder. Black drops Howitzer to his knees with a third elbow. Displaying some crafty, old school wrestling, Black shifts the Arm Wrench into a Hammerlock...)

JR: William Black with an impressive display of Old--Howitzer with an elbow! Another elbow! By Gawd! Howitzer's got some fight left! A Third elbow to the head and William Black breaks the hold!

(Howitzer uses one final elbow, but William Black ducks it. Howitzer spins around, walking Right into an Empty Chamber.)

JR: Good Lord! Empty Chamber! Empty Chamber '03 Right there!

J.R.:  The shoulder tackle found its mark!!  And now Howitzer’s looking to inflict some punishment!

(Howitzer drags Black up off the canvas and throws him over his shoulder, then slams him to the mat with a powerslam.)

J.R.:  Powerslam!  Howitzer’s finding the zone now folks!  Black tries to get up, Howitzer’s right on him.  Facebuster!  And now Howitzer scrapes Black off the canvas again…another powerslam!!  I wouldn’t be surprised if Black has internal injuries!

King:  I wouldn’t either!  This is horrible!  But not as horrible as this, look J.R.!

(Howitzer stares at the downed Black for a moment and then strides over to the nearest turnbuckle.)

J.R.:  Howitzer’s getting into the predator’s crouch!  He’s set up on the turnbuckle!!  Once William Black gets up, he’s gonna get knocked right back down!

(After several seconds, Black staggers to his feet.  Before he can get his bearings, he gets a little too close to Howitzer, who explodes out of the corner and nails Black with the Bengal Breaker.)

J.R.:  Bengal Breaker!!  Bengal Breaker!!  Chalk one up for Howitzer here, goes for the pin…

JR: These two men have been battling for quite some time now, but it looks like William Black has the distinct advantage here. He's ahead right now, but that can change on the drop of a dime.
KING: Nah. Howitzer sucks. He can't beat William Black. He's never done it.

(Just then, William Black ducks a punch from Howitzer and steps in behind him. Black connects with a hard Back Suplex. William Black pulls Howitzer to his feet and throws him into the corner. Black follows it in and crunches Howitzer with his shoulder. Then Black connects with a punch, and a backchop. Finally William Black pulls Howitzer out of the corner with an Irish Whip, turning it into a Drop Toehold at the last second, bouncing Howie face first off of the mat.)

KING: Gah! Did you just see the way Howitzer's face bounced off the mat? Now that was impressive! Ha Ha!
JR: Whatever King. William Black lines Howitzer up. Black goes to work with a series of signature Fist Drops. Cover gets two. Black pulls Howitzer back to his feet. SILENCER! Beautiful bridge! One! Two! Shoulder up! Wow that was close.

(With a small burst of energy, Howitzer battles back, throwing punches. But William Black blocks the last one by grabbing Howitzer's fist. Then he spins Howitzer around and slaps on the Blacklock.)

JR: BLACKLOCK!! BLACKLOCK!!! BLACKLOCK!!!! Howitzer's in trouble! Howitzer's going for the ropes!

(William Black prevents Howitzer from reaching the ropes by throwing them both backwards with a variant of a Russian Legsweep. While still maintaining the Blacklock, Black rolls over with Howitzer, putting him face down on the mat in the
middle of the ring.)

KING: GAH!
JR: Holy Smokes! That was an impressive way to keep Howitzer from reaching the ropes!
KING: Howitzer's REALLY in trouble now! He's down in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go!

(The camera manages to get a closeup of the action in the ring. You can hear Howitzer groaning in agony.)

HOWITZER: AAAAAAHHHHHHH AAAHHH AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

JR: Listen to the man!
KING: He needs to tap out!
JR: The referee's in position but Howitzer refuses to tap! All of William Black's weight on is Howitzer's lower back!
KING: And he's yanking back on Howitzer's shoulder and neck! He's going to seriously damage something! Gah!
JR: Howitzer's Tapping! Howitzer's Tapping!

(With one final surge, Howitzer tries to make it to the ropes, but he's just too far away to make it. After realizing there's no way out, Howitzer saves what strength he has left and taps out. After Black breaks the hold, Howitzer rolls away, sliding outside of the ring. He tries desperately to shake some feeling back into his shoulder while William Black taunts him and plays to the crowd.)

JR: Look at Howitzer King... He doesn't look happy about that exchange.
KING: Of course not! That just made this match even harder for him to win.
JR: This is true King. I wonder how well that shoulder is going to hold up. The damage may already be done.

J.R.:  This match continues folks, and we’re past the halfway point in this 60 Minute Iron Man contest.  Howitzer is starting to regain his momentum!

King:  He’s got an unfair advantage with Rodderick Bane on the outside!

J.R.:  I’d say Rodderick Bane is the only thing making this match fair at all!  Since he’s come down to the ring, Spirit’s had a hard time tipping the balance of this match in Black’s favor!

(In the ring, Black and Howitzer lock up.  Black gets a little leverage and goes to whip Howitzer into the ropes.  The ref is caught out of position, and the massive bulk of Howitzer goes crashing into him, knocking him to the canvas and unconscious.  On the outside of the ring, Rodderick Bane immediately looks intently at Spirit.)

King:  The ref’s out!

J.R.:  I don’t believe this folks, Black knocked Howitzer into the ref!

King:  We’ve got a downed zebra!

(Black goes for an Empty Chamber while Howitzer is distracted, but Howitzer gets a hand up and stops the move with an eye rake.  With Black clutching his face, Howitzer delivers a resounding full nelson suplex.  Black is left dazed on the canvas.)

J.R.:  Howitzer is determined not to let Black get the upper hand while the ref is down!

King:  Yeah, with an eye rake!  What a cheap shot move!

(Howitzer stands over the prone Black and points to the crowd, yelling.)

HOWITZER:  BOMBERS CAN OPEN BOMB BAYS!

(Howitzer spins a 360 while pointing at the crowd and then runs for the ropes.  He bounces off and takes to the air, connecting with a Bunker Buster.)

J.R.:  Bunker Buster!!  Bunker Buster body splash!  Howitzer’s going for a cover!

(The ref is still out on the canvas.)

King:  Ha!  No one’s there to count for him!  Aww, what a tough break!

(Howitzer gets up and roughly shakes the referee, who begins to stir a little bit.  Out of the corner of his eye, Howitzer notices Black trying to get to his feet.  He still doesn’t have his wind from the Bunker Buster.)

J.R.:  Howitzer leaves the ref, goes over to Black…locks him in that bearhug!  Black’s trapped, what a brilliant move!  He was already winded from the Bunker Buster, now there’s no way he’ll be able to recover locked in Howitzer’s bear hug!

King:  But what’s the use, if he submits, the ref isn’t going to be able to call it a decision!

(The ref starts to move a little bit.  Howitzer’s back is to Spirit on the outside, and she jumps up onto the apron and takes out a bottle of Bombay Sapphire.  Like a jungle cat, Rodderick Bane slides underneath the bottom rope on his side and executes a headfirst slide underneath the opposite bottom rope.  As he flies off the ring apron, he grabs at Spirit’s ankle.)

J.R.:  Oh my goodness did you see that?!  Did you SEE THAT?!  Bane was in and out in less than a second!

King:  I think I blinked and I missed it!

(Bane pulls himself up onto the apron and grabs Spirit’s arm, preventing her from bringing the liquor bottle come crashing down onto the back of Howitzer’s head.  He yells a warning to Howitzer.)

RODDERICK BANE:  DROP THE HOLD!

(Howitzer lets Black out of the bearhug, and just as he steps away, Bane forces Spirit’s hand to bring the bottle down on Black’s forehead.  Black falls to the mat, his forehead gushing blood.  He screams in agony as the alcohol seeps into the open wounds.)

J.R.:  Bane makes the save!!  Spirit just hit Black with the bottle!  Black’s down!  And look, the ref’s just waking up!

King:  Oh how convenient!

J.R.:  Howitzer’s going for the pin!

(Howitzer drops to the mat and makes the cover.  The ref drags himself over and makes a slow count.)

(Howitzer puts Black down on the mat with an atomic drop.  He follows in on Black, grabbing his legs and locking in the Boston Crab.)

J.R.:  Howitzer’s got the Boston Crab locked in!  Black’s fighting with all he’s got to get out of it!

(Black writhes in pain while trapped in the Crab, and Howitzer leans back to maximize it.  The ref drops to Black’s face and continually asks if he wants to submit.  Black refuses several times.)

King:  Look at the guts of William Black!  He refuses to submit!  Maybe Howitzer oughta think twice about calling him “Wilma!”

J.R.:  I’ve gotta begrudgingly give it to Black as well King.  He’s holding up here better than I thought.

(Black stays locked in the Boston Crab for over 30 seconds.  He keeps refusing when the ref asks if he wants to tap.  Finally, with excruciating effort, he makes a desperate lunge and grabs the bottom rope, forcing Howitzer to release the hold.  Frustrated, Howitzer lets Black go and slams his legs to the canvas.  Black yelps in pain.)

J.R.:  Black is using the ropes to pull himself to his feet as Spirit yells encouragement…but look at this folks, it appears as though Howitzer did some damage to Black’s lower back area.  He’s holding it and not really standing up straight.

(Black holds onto his lower back with one hand as he pulls himself up with the other.  Howitzer stands a few feet away, measuring him up.  His confident smile crosses his face.)

J.R.:  Howitzer’s got evil intentions King, I can see ‘em!

King:  Oh no, Black look out!

(Just as Black gets all the way up, Howitzer tears across the ring in the other direction, bounces off the ropes, and nails Black in the face with a running elbow smash just as Black turns around.)

J.R.:  Uh-OH!  Howitzer is tuning it up here!

(Howitzer drags Black off the mat and over to the corner.  Howitzer sets up on the middle ropes and gorilla presses Black over his head.  He drops him to the mat with a BFG.)

While the referee is down, Spirit slides William Black a pair of numchucks...)

JR: Oh no! Not this! Turn around Howitzer!

*BLAP* *BLAP-BLAP* *BLAP*

(Howitzer takes a few quick hits with the weapons. In a display of unremarkable intelligence here in the BMWF, Howitzer grabs hold of the ropes and hastily slides outside of the ring... Howitzer stays there on the outside while William Black takes a few more swings around the ring.)

KING: BLAH! What a whimp! Howitzer's running away like a sissy la la!
JR: That's not true!
KING: It's not? Could have fooled me! Ha ha!
JR: Obviously, Howitzer isn't about to walk into that mess.

*SCHNACK*

KING: Ha ha! That's the sound of a Kendo stick! Haha! I love Spirit! She's a bad girl!
JR: You would!

(While Howitzer and William Black are at a stand still, Spirit comes up behind Howitzer and clocks him with a Kendo stick across the back of the head. The kendo stick splinters but doesn't break. However, the referee has somehow managed to regain conscienceness, and is signalling to Howitzer's score...)

J.R.:  Folks, we are at the two minute warning here.  And we’re all square at 4 falls to 4.

King:  Who’s going to win, I can’t take it!!

J.R.:  It could go either way King, but it needs to be said…these two men have fought like gladiators tonight, and this match has been one for the ages.

King:  I can’t believe they’re still standing!

J.R.:  Now these two exhausted men fall into a clinch…Black gets Howitzer with a punch to the gut…martial arts kick to the sternum!  Howitzer’s forced back a little here…Black tries a fallaway slam!  Howitzer slips out and counters with a fallaway slam of his own!  Oh man!  That could’ve turned the tide here!

King:  I hate to say it J.R., but you may be right!  When you’re this tired, every move could end it!

(Howitzer makes Black sit up and jerks him roughly to his feet with his arms cinched around Black’s waist.)

J.R.:  German!

(Howitzer brings Black back to his feet and delivers a nasty headbutt.  Then he gets him about the waist again.)

J.R.:  Another German!  Just over a minute to go!

(Howitzer gets Black to his feet yet again.)

J.R.:  Atomic drop!  Black’s flat on his face!  And…HOWITZER’S GOT THE CRAB LOCKED IN AGAIN!!  BOSTON CRAB ON BLACK!!

King:  And there’s less than a minute to go!

(Howitzer leans back as far as he can go in the Boston Crab.  William Black screams in agony.  The camera shoots over to Rodderick Bane, who is staring across the ring at Spirit, malignantly.  His right eyebrow creeps up as if to say “Want to try anything?”)

J.R.:  If Black can hold out we’ll have to go to sudden death!

King:  I don’t know if he can, J.R.!  The damage might have been done from the LAST time Howitzer had him in the hold!

J.R.:  45 seconds left folks!!

(Howitzer bares his teeth at the camera as he leans back in the Crab.  The ref is inches from Black’s face, asking him if he wants to submit.)

King:  Black’s in so much pain he can’t even speak!  All he can do is shake his head!

J.R.:  I can’t believe he’s still holding out!

King:  25 seconds!  Come on William, hold on!  Hold on!

J.R.:  Howitzer is really pouring it on here!  He wants to end this thing right now!  20 seconds left!  He’s…he’s tapping!  William Black’s tapping out with just under 20 seconds to go!  Howitzer’s done it, he’s won the match!

(Howitzer immediately breaks the hold and stands over Black.  The crowd counts down from 10, and explodes in thunderous applause as time expires.)

J.R.:  It’s official!  Howitzer has emerged the winner of the 60 Minute Iron Man match!  You’re looking at the newest member of The Family, folks!  Wow, what a Bedlam!

(Black is still down on the canvas, holding his lower back.  The ref is down attending to him, and a concerned Spirit scrambles into the ring and leans over her fallen companion.  Howitzer leaves the ring and shakes hands with Rodderick Bane, then goes to the fans and starts to pose for pictures and sign posters and hats.)

King:  I think something’s really wrong with Black, J.R.

J.R.:  Ref in the ring is signaling for some paramedics to come down here…Black can move, but he doesn’t seem to want to get up.  Still holding that lower back.

King:  I’ve got to think that all that time in the Boston Crab has torn a muscle group or something.  Howitzer’s a big strong guy, and when somebody like that is applying the pressure, it can really do some damage.

(A small retinue of paramedics reach the ring with some bandages and begin to attend to William Black as Spirit looks on.  “Flying High Again” blares over the PA as Howitzer and Bane take a celebratory walk up the ramp, Howitzer waving to the crowd.)

J.R.:  Well there he goes folks, the winner of tonight’s match and the newest Family member.  We  hope Black’s all right, and as the paramedics attend to him, we’ll take a commercial break and be right back.

(The camera cuts backstage where The Judge is shown standing in front of a BMWF logo.)

Judge: Ezekiel, tonight we're down to Match Four, an I Quit match, which happens to slightly be in your favor. But that doesn't matter to me because tonight I want to end the series and celebrate my birthday on Thursday with the BMWF Intercontinental title. I don't want to have to face you at Season's Beatings in a 90 Minute IronMan match, I want to spend my birthday and the holidays at home with my family. You've had your fun and games by winning Match Three, and you may think you're starting a rally, but tonight that rally gets crushed in Match Four.

(The Judge grins.)

Judge: And you know how I'm going to do it? I have this move I made Kurt Dangle tap out to a few months ago called the Case Dismissed! submission move. So Ezekiel, remember tonight, remember the last words you are going to say as BMWF Intercontinental Champion...and those words are, "I QUIT".

(We fade as The Judge walks off.)

(Ezekiel is seen in the backstage interview
area, standing in front of the large BMWF
logo.  Ezekiel is wearing his white Prime
Time jacket, with contrasting black kilt and
boots.  On the ground beside him is his chair
and duffel bag.  The Couch stands microphone
in hand)

The Couch: Ezekiel, you are just about to go
down to the ring for what must be one of the
most important matches here in the BMWF.

Ezekiel: Tonight is indeed an important evening.
Since earning the Intercontinental title, every
evening has become vital.  There is a tremendous
responsibility in holding the Intercontinental title,
however it does create numerous obstacles in the
journey.  Since winning the Intercontinental belt
The Judge has been the originator of these obstacles.
He decided demean the title and myself with a
vicious attack.  In turn I wanted to exact vengeance,
and born out of that was the best out of five series
for the title.

(Ezekiel pauses, anger growing in his eyes)

Ezekiel: The Judge however decided to break
and bend the rules at every turn.  I was too
complacent, and I can blame only myself.
Nonetheless the tide has now turned.  The Judge
made a vital mistake; he had me on the back foot,
that time has now passed.  I pinned you clean in
the ring last week, and tonight I will make you
quit.  Judge, the Truth is all encompassing, and
you will hear it whether you want to or not!

Ezekiel: Ezekiel’s thoughts tonight, now we
go to ringside.

(Ezekiel grabs the chair and bag, as he makes
his way to the ring entrance)

(Suddenly, flash flares erupt from the ringposts
and In the Shadows by The Rasmus, starts to
play on the P.A. – Ezekiel makes his way down
to the ring in a white Prime Time jacket, black
leather kilt and black boots.  In one hand he carries
the chair, and in the other an ominous looking duffel bag)

CROWD: SEE THE LIGHT! SEE THE LIGHT! SEE THE LIGHT!

P.A: No sleep – No sleep until I’m
done with finding the answer…

(The flares continue to burn as he makes
his way around the ring.  Stopping by the
timekeeper’s table he sets the chair up and
places the duffel bag on it.)

Anyway, Ezekiel must win the next two
matches to retain the Intercontinental belt.

JR: Ezekiel with a tough match in front of him
here tonight, an I Quit match.  A lot riding on
the line.

King: YAH! Wouldn’t it be great for The Judge to
win the title by making Ezekiel saying ‘I quit’?  It
would be brilliant!

P.A: I been watching - I been waiting –
in the shadows for my time - I been searching –
I been living - for tomorrows all my life…

(Ezekiel rolls in the ring and walks to the ropes.
Standing on the bottom rope, the ringposts erupt

Fighting out of Miami, FL...
Weighing in at 230 pounds...
The Judge

PA: You are now about to enter the courtroom of THE JUDGE!

(Black and white pyros shoot off around the stage as the Judge Joe Brown theme hits. The Judge appears from behind the curtains, wearing his "Judge" shirt and holding his gavel. He walks about halfway down the ramp and then stops. The Judge raises his gavel in the air and then brings it down three times, each time a black and white pyro shoots off behind him. to pin them, both men got their work cut out.

JR: That’s true King, Ezekiel continues to apply
pressure, all this time continuing to weaken it.
Ezekiel drops a knee into the shoulder, sound
technique shown by Ezekiel.

King: He can’t afford to do anything else, there is
too much on the line tonight for old Zeke.

JR: Ezekiel with The Judge to his feet, pin in the
belly suplex.  Ezekiel modified that in mid move,
causing The Judge to come down fully on that

King: And with the armbar again, doesn’t he know
any other moves?

JR: Ezekiel being careful to keep to his movelist
as always.

King: Argh!  Should the arm be able to bend like
that?

JR: The Judge whips Ezekiel to the ropes, no

butterfly lock.  We’ve not seen Ezekiel use that
move in months, Ezekiel wrenching The Judge’s
arms and neck, The Judge flailing.  Ezekiel with
all the leverage, there is no way The Judge can
get to the ropes.

King: But the Judge won’t give up that easy, come

guaranteed to be hellacious!

(Ezekiel is about to leave the ring when the lights flicker off and on. There at the ramp stands the man dressed in gold. His gold mask on and his gold pants. He has a golden mic in his hand.)

Gold Mystery Man: So Ezekiel, you win and force a big match at the ppv. Have you thought about what I told you last week. I noticed that your friends are still no where around. I don’t see them coming out here to help secure your title do you?

(Ezekiel stand and looks at the gold mystery man.)

Gold Mystery Man: No, they are no where in sight. What kind of cliq are you in anyways? Allow me to make you an offer you can’t refuse.

(The Mystery man then throws a brief case down the ramp and at the ring where Ezekiel is standing.)

Gold Mystery Man: Go ahead and open it up.

(there is one hundred thousand dollars inside.)

Gold Mystery Man: There is a hundred thousand reasons for you to leave Prime Time. Leave them and side up with someone who will have your best interest at heart. Side with someone who will put…GOLD…around your waist. See Ezekiel I am not only offering a hundred thousand dollars. I am offering you something that Prime Time could never offer. GOLD! Solid Gold! Think about it. Next week I will come to this ring and offer you something that will forever change your life. A chance to sign on the dotted line to become part of something special. Something elite. Something that will make you a legend.

(Suddenly from the ceiling gold confetti falls.)

Gold Mystery Man: Golden opportunities only come along every once in a while. I have your back Ezekiel if you sign with me.

(The man leaves and Ezekiel just stands and looks.)

>>>

(The scene opens in The Prime Time locker room. Tamer is standing in the
middle of the room under a light smiling.)

Tamer: I still can't get over it... Two years! They've flown by.. I mean so
much has happened to me! Yet it was just a whirlwind. Now looking back I can't
even believe how far I've come. I looked back at my first match and the
memories just exploded through my mind. I was nervous that night.. Can you
believe that? It's true though. I mean I acted all bad in my interview I
said some mumbo-jumbo about this was a speed bump that would either slow me
down or I'd fly right over it... I dunno my first night, I was "trying" to
be cool. The match is an interesting memory, because when I was there, the
way I remember it was just being so fast. The bell rang and then BAM! I was
being declared the victor. Watching it now is so weird, I almost feel like I'm
watching someone else in that match. The crowd is also interesting..I
remember when I hit that ramp I felt like I was so cool... I had the music I
had taken hours to select blaring, the lights were just as I wanted to them.
How did the crowd react? A few were interested, other just wanted to see if
anyone they knew would show, and then the rest well apparently it was
bathroom break or shopping time for them....

(Tamer shakes his head.)

Tamer: Tonight it will be so different. It is just is so different no. I'm
not trying to b anything, I am just me. I remember every second of every
match. The crowd...well the crowd seems a bit more interested now. I can't
wait for it... I'm addicted to it. The buzz, the roar, the human reaction.
It's an amazing rush. When I step out on that ramp my music will be nothing
but a backdrop... I will hear nothing more than the people. Every Man,
woman, and child. I will hear their, cheer and jeers. I am will inhale that
intoxicating feeling. My adrenaline building with every step towards the
ring. All of it preparing me for the grueling match ahead.

(Tamer runs his hand through his hair.)

Tamer: Tonight isn't some simple match, this match won't end quickly. This
match is against a true Gladiator. A champion of our time and the current
Hardcore champion, Lowedown... Someone the fans love. An "untouchable" so to
speak. Of course that is just a term... No one is untouchable... Axe can
tell you that.

(Tamer winks.)

Tamer: I have respect for Lowedown, he knows that. He looks forward to this
match as do I. For me it's a chance at gold, but its much more than that. It
runs deeper. It's a chance to... test myself, prove myself. I want the gold,
no doubt... No offense but Lowedown has been just resting that title on his
shoulder.. He's been walking around with it like it's some trophy. He doesn't
care about it. His life, is the BMWF World Title... That is where he is
headed and a place that is in my not so far away future. But I think I can
bring a real..champion to the belt. Right now Lowedown acts like having the
belt on his shoulder makes him a champion. But again it is just a word. You
have to put something behind it. And that strap has been sitting pretty and
ignored too long. If I win you'll have a true Hardcore Champion...

(Tamer smiles.)

Tamer: So Lowedown... we both have are sights set in other places, Things to
settle, But the focus is the now... so...

(Tamer clears his throat.)

Tamer: PREPARE TO BE TAMED!

King:You're telling me! He's taking off his belt and he's slapping it against the chest of Tamer!

JR:Tamer is trying to block those shots with the belt, but Lowedown is slamming them down harder and harder!

(Lowedown continues to slam that belt into the chest of Tamer. Welts are already beginning to show on the body of Tamer. Lowedown finally picks up Tamer and presses him high above his head and immediately throws Tamer out of the ring and watches him fall to the concrete floor. The crowd turns away at the way Tamer hits the floor and Lowedown slides out of the ring immediately after him and reaches underneath the ring and pulls out a pair of trash can lids. (Bruiser cracks open a Diet Coke and watches Lowedown make his way over to Dozer who is getting ready for his match up...)

Lowedown:Look bro, I don't how to say this...

Dozer:Don't worry bro. He's not gonna take me down.

Lowedown:You don't understand me. Z is a vicious sonofableep and he won't stop until he's put a world of hurtin' on ya. Believe me, I've been in that ring with enough times to know that he is a crazy freak who won't stop to prove a point. Look what happened to me just a few minutes ago.

Dozer:What? Are you saying you don't want me to go out there because he might hurt me? You think I can't handle myself?

Lowedown:That's not what I meant. He wants to hurt me and he'll go through you if he has to prove a point. He has the same anger as I do when it comes to the World title. He hates me and
I hate him. You know what kind of anger I hold inside for him don't ya?

Dozer:Yeah?

Lowedown:I'm telling ya, watch out for him. Stay away from that Atomic driver and keep him down on that mat at all cost. Don't give me a chance to breathe. Do whatever you have to do keep

JR: Master Z has a microphone let's listen to what he has to say.

(Master Z flings the title belt over his shoulder as he speaks.)

Master Z: Dozer, tell me something, please! Why don't you speak some sense into Lowedown? Why don't you tell him how bad I"m going to hurt him if he faces me again. Everyone knows he can't keep up with me anymore! Maybe at one point he was at the top of his game, but it was luck that had him beating me. Even on his best day and my worst day he couldn't hope to come out of the match as the victory. Dozer, I"m going to give you one chance to get out of this match without going to the hospital! I'm going to tell you this... You walk out of this ring right now and promise to tell Lowedown to retire. You tell him to wipe Master Z from his memory. JR: Wait a minute! Security is out here! And so is Lowedown!

(The scene cuts to the entrance ramp where about 20 security officers are trying to keep Lowedown away from the ring. He inches cloeser and closer to the ring pushing through the men.)

JR: Master Z now sees Lowedown! What is he doing?

(Master Z gets to one knee and pulls a pair of brass knuckles from his pocket. Master Z grabs Dozer Phillips by the hair and begins to pound him in the face with the knucks.)

JR: Lowedown can only watch in horror as those security officers are holding him back!

(An evil grin grows across the face of Master Z as blood begins to flow from all points on Dozer's head. Master Z tucks the bloody brass knuckles back into his pocket. He turns and taunts Lowedown who is still trying to reach ringside.)

JR: Lowedown can't get any closer to Master Z! More security guards have arrived and are holding him back!

Wait a minute, Master Z has that chair again! What is he up to?

(Master Z opens the chair half way and places it around the neck of Dozer Phillips. Master Z keeps looking back at Lowedown taunting him every second.)

JR: OH NO! He isn't is he?

(Master Z climbs the ropes with the limp body of Dozer flung over his shoulder. The chair is still wrapped around Dozer's neck. Lowedown can see what is about to happen, but stands no chance at saving Dozer. He can only watch in horror.)

*CRACK*

JR: ATOMIC DRIVER ON DOZER WITH THAT CHAIR AROUND HIS NECK!

KING: I think I heard a snap!

JR: Dozer's head bent in ways it shouldn't have on that one! We need medical attention out here NOW!

(Lowedown yells profanities at Master Z who just smiles in return.)

Master Z: You have yourself to blame. Now that I've ended Dozer's career... it'll be your career next! I'll see you soon, Lowedown!

JR: What a horrible man! Master Z might have ended Dozer's career! I've never seen anything as devastating as an Atomic Driver with a chair around Master Z's opponents head! Was he trying to kill him?

KING: Master Z gave Dozer the chance to walk, JR!

JR: Why was security detaining Lowedown? They should have been stopping Master Z!

This isn't right, King!

(Master Z smiles and exits through the crowd! Once Master Z has left eyesight, security finally lets go of Lowedown. Lowedown runs to Dozer Phillips aid just as medical staff start to secure him on a stretcher.)

JR:Lowedown is out here as they are taking Dozer to the hospital! Lowedown is distraught!

King:I think he's about to lose it!

JR: We're outta time!

KING: YAHHH!

(Z is seen gloating as Dozer is being wheeled away on a stretcher and Lowedown is shown furious...fade...)
